Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about Nabble.

Requirements and setup

Nabble requires iOS 26.5 or later (iPadOS 26.5 or later on iPad; watchOS 26.5 or later for the Apple Watch app). To check your version, open the iOS Settings app and go to General → About. If you’re on an older version, go to General → Software Update.

Open Settings → Setup Guide.

Scroll to the bottom of Settings. The version and build number, for example “Version 1.5.4 (15)”, are shown under the data-source credits. Please include it when you contact support.

Plans and lists

The free plan includes one list. Creating another opens the Nabble Premium screen. Premium removes the limit.

If a Premium subscription ends, lists beyond your first become read-only: you can view them but not add or edit items until you subscribe again.

The free plan shows the last 30 days. Premium shows everything.

Location and notifications

Check each of these:

  1. The store has a location saved and Notify when nearby is on (Settings → Stores → the store).
  2. iOS location access for Nabble is set to While Using the App (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Nabble).
  3. Notifications are allowed for Nabble (iOS Settings → Notifications → Nabble).
  4. The list linked to that store has items on it.
  5. No more than 5 stores have notifications turned on.

Yes. Both are optional.

Family sharing

Check that you are both signed in to iCloud and have an internet connection, then pull down on the list to refresh. Changes usually appear within a few seconds; delays of 10 to 30 seconds can happen on cellular. Nabble works offline and uploads your changes when you reconnect.

Make sure Nabble is installed, then long-press the link and choose Open in Nabble, or ask the sender for a fresh link from Settings → Family Members → Invite Family Member.

Scanning and items

Tap Try Again. If it still isn’t found, use Search Products or type the item name.

Privacy and your data

No. Nabble uses your location only to notice when you arrive near a store you chose, using iOS’s built-in geofencing. Your location is never stored or shared. See our Privacy Policy.

In your personal iCloud account and on your devices.

Troubleshooting and app basics

Settings → Reset App… deletes all lists, stores, and shopping history from your device, and cannot be undone. To keep your lists but clear your past trips, use Clear History & Suggestions….
