Shopping

Shop Mode, Live Activity on your Lock Screen, and shopping online.

Shop Mode is a focused view for working through a list in the store.

Start a trip

The Grocery Run list for Publix with items grouped by category and a blue Shop This List button

Open a list and tap Shop This List at the bottom of the screen. Nabble starts a shopping session.

If you leave by tapping Pause, the session stays open and your cart is exactly as you left it. The button then reads Continue Shopping.

Check off items

Shop Mode at the start of a trip with 0 in cart, a progress bar, a Live Activity promo card, every item unchecked, and a Done Shopping button

Items are grouped by category in your store’s aisle order.

  • Tap an item to put it in your cart. It moves to In Cart at the bottom with a green check mark and a strike-through.
  • Tap an item in the cart to put it back.
  • Tap the thumbs-down icon on the right of an item, or swipe the item to the left, to mark it Not Available.
  • If your role lets you add items, tap + at the top right to add something without leaving Shop Mode.

A colored banner at the bottom confirms each action (“Bananas added to cart” in green, “Carrots not available” in orange).

The progress bar

The bar at the top shows “[N] in cart, [N] unavailable”. Green is in your cart, red is not available, and gray is still to get.

Items that aren’t available

Shop Mode with the Show Unavailable switch turned on and a Not Available section listing Carrots with a Restore button

Unavailable items leave the list you are shopping and add a red segment to the progress bar.

To bring one back during the trip, turn on Show Unavailable below the list and tap Restore next to the item.

Finish your trip

The Finish Shopping dialog saying 2 items in your cart will be marked as purchased, with Done Shopping and Keep Shopping buttons

Tap Done Shopping. Nabble asks “Finish Shopping?” and tells you how many items in your cart will be marked as purchased. Tap Done Shopping to confirm, or Keep Shopping to go back.

When you finish:

  • Items in your cart are removed from the list and saved in History.
  • Items marked Not Available stay on the list, ready for your next trip.
  • If nothing was in your cart, Nabble discards the trip so your History stays clean.

To stop without recording anything, tap Pause instead.

After you tap Pause, the list shows what you’ve done so far and a green Continue Shopping button.

See your trip on the Lock Screen (Premium)

With Nabble Premium, a Live Activity appears on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while a shopping trip is open. It shows the list name, the store, how many items are left, a progress bar, and how many items are in your cart. It updates as you check items off, so you can keep your phone locked while you shop.

Tap the Live Activity to jump straight back to Shop Mode.

The first time a trip starts, iPhone asks “Allow Live Activities from Nabble?” Tap Allow. If you tapped Don’t Allow, you can turn them back on: open the iPhone Settings app, tap Nabble, and switch on Live Activities.

Online shopping (Premium)

Nabble can help you shop online with 22 retailers: Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, Overstock, Best Buy, Newegg, Costco, Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Staples, Chewy, Wayfair, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Gap, Zappos, Nike, Sephora, H&M, and SHEIN.

Shop online

Online shopping mode for Home Office with a hint reading Tap an item to find it on Amazon, and three items to find: Desk lamp, Notebook, and USB cable
  1. Open the list and tap Shop Online. (The button reads Continue Shopping Online if a trip is open.)
  2. Tap an item. Nabble opens the retailer’s website in Safari with that item already searched. If the item has a barcode, Nabble uses it to jump straight to the product where the retailer supports that.
  3. Return to Nabble. Swipe right on the item, or use its buttons, to mark it Found. Use the thumbs-down icon, or swipe left, to mark it Not Available.
  4. Tap Done Shopping. Items marked Found are saved to History.
